FAQs

Below are just few of the questions that are commonly asked by people who have browsed our site and the answers that we have provided them. We hope that they can help you too!

WHY USE A BROKER TO BOOK YOUR HOLIDAY?
We are an independent broker, and so we are able to offer you the choice of every charter boat available in the British Virgin Islands. We have the experience and knowledge to guide you in your selection, as well as the ability to enhance your vacation experience by supplying you with a wide plethora of options. Our caring and knowledgeable staff will be on call to guide you step by step through every facet of your holiday plans. We are located in the B.V.I., so you will never be in the dark with us.

IS IT MORE EXPENSIVE TO USE A BROKER?
No. Whether you are booking a yacht or a land-based vacation, the price you pay is the same whether you use our services or go directly to the charter company or hotel. In some cases, we are able to offer you special deals exclusive to our company. With our knowledge of the territory and our connections within the community, we have the capabilities to shop around for a package that will both suit your budget and match your criteria. In other words, you can consider us your personal research assistants and leave the worry and hassle in our hands!

WHAT IS THE BEST TIME OF YEAR TO VIST THE B.V.I.?
Since the Caribbean is located close to the equator, we do not have the diversity in seasonal weather seen in other parts of the world. Even in the winter months, the air temperature rarely drops below 80 degrees F., and the sea temperature maintains a range of 76 – 84 degrees year round.
Our high tourist season runs from November through May, when rental prices tend to be slightly higher. There are a couple of reasons for this. Firstly, people tend to retreat to the Caribbean sun in order to avoid the bitter winter cold they are enduring at home. Secondly, the summer months do tend to be on the humid side, perfect conditions for tropical storms and on occasion, hurricanes. August and September tend to be the quietest months for this reason, and many of the charter companies down-size their fleets and restaurants close for a pre-season break during this time.
If you had to ask us to pick our favourite time of year in the B.V.I., it would probably be between February and May, when the weather tends to be crystal clear, the water is a perfect temperature, the Christmas rush has waned and the season is in full swing.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO BOOK OUR VACATION?
The popularity of the BVI as a holiday destination is on the rise, therefore more notice that you are able to give us, the greater the chance will be that we will be able to book exactly what you want, within the dates that you are available. It is never too early to book your holiday, so if you have already set your sites on next winter, for example, then contact us now and we can reserve your yacht or room now. However, if your break is unexpected and you can only give us minimal notice, then get in contact and we will do our best for you. Since we are on location in the B.V.I., we have the ability to shop around all the companies and see exactly what is available.
