TORTOLA  Back to the Map

Cane Garden Bay
Cane Garden BayThis is the beach on Tortola for nightlife, offering a selection of bars and restaurants for you to choose from. Located on the island’s north-western shoreline, the sunsets are spectacular, so a sundowner cocktail at Myett’s or The Big Banana is a must (do not miss out on trying a Bushwhacker!). Quito Rymer is a local celebrity; he plays live reggae several nights a week at Quito’s Gazebo – don’t forget to pick up a copy of his CD to recapture the Caribbean atmosphere when you are back at home!

Soper’s Hole
Located at Tortola’s Western end, and nestled in the lee of Frenchman’s Cay, this cove is renowned for its colourful architecture and Caribbean ambience, not to mention the role it played in days when the territory was dominated by pirates!

Sally and JoStop for a bite to eat at Pusser’s, and stroll along the avenue of shops, which offer a selection of perfumes, clothing, jewellery, artwork, swimwear and watersports equipment. Across the bay is the Jolly Roger, a pirate bar with a laid-back atmosphere, and often the venue for live music.

Road Harbour
This is a great anchorage from which to explore the B.V.I.’s capital, Road Town, a bustling community and our main business district. Dinghy into Village Cay and you are within walking distance of an array of unique restaurants, shops and boutiques (Ladies – lure your partner into one of several jewellery stores to admire the exquisite selections on offer!).
